Welcome to the Bahá'í community of Durham, North Carolina.  We invite you to explore the teachings of our faith and to join us in creating a better, more peaceful world — one heart, one family, one neighborhood at a time.  Our website provides basic information about the Bahá'í Faith, our local community, and activities at our Center and elsewhere, which are open to all.

We invite all community members, regardless of spiritual background, to join us in efforts to advance civilization forward, starting with the empowerment of our own neighborhoods through grassroots education-based community building efforts.

OUR VISION

Bahá'ís believe the crucial need facing humanity is to find a unifying vision of the future of society and of the nature and purpose of life. We believe that such a vision unfolds in the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh.
